What You Need
- 6 eggs
- 1 ½ cups coarse salt
- 4 cups water
What To Do
- Boil 4 cups of water and turn off heat. Add salt and stir until it is dissolved. Set aside to cool.
- Arrange eggs in a jar and slowly pour the salt solution. If the eggs float, use a stopper to keep them submerged. They have to be totally submerged in the solution. Close the lid tightly.
- Store in an enclosed dark cabinet for 3-4 weeks.
- Boil the eggs after storage for 20 minutes and cool. Store in the refrigerator or consume immediately. Don’t let it sit for a long time.
